Iran's Khamenei Blasts Israel, West in Eid Speech

Leader Vows 'Crushing' Response to Israeli Airstrikes

Tehran - Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, delivered a fiery speech at Imam Khomeini's Grand Mosalla in Tehran on Friday, blasting Israel and the West for their roles in the recent bloody Gaza war.

In his address, Khamenei accused Israel of committing "genocide" against the Palestinian people and condemned the United States and other Western powers for their support of Israel's actions.

"The Zionist regime is a cancerous tumor that must be removed from the region," Khamenei said. "We will not tolerate the occupation of our lands or the killing of our people."

Khamenei also vowed a "crushing" response to recent Israeli airstrikes that demolished Iran's consulate building in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and killed several Iranian officials.

"We will not hesitate to defend our interests and our allies," Khamenei said. "Israel and its American patrons will pay a heavy price for their aggression."

Khamenei's speech comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel. In recent months, the two countries have traded threats and accusations, raising fears of a wider conflict.

The international community has called for restraint on both sides and urged them to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
