Smoking Restrictions at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport

Designated Smoking Areas

Smoking is only permitted outside the terminal building at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. Designated smoking areas can be found on the ground floor near entrance 8.

Additional Locations

In addition to the designated smoking area at entrance 8, there are several other smoking areas located throughout the airport. These areas are clearly marked and are available for use by passengers who wish to smoke.

Smoking Prohibitions

It is important to note that smoking is strictly prohibited in all public spaces in Thailand, including airports. This includes both indoor and outdoor areas. Failure to comply with this prohibition may result in fines or other penalties.

Closure of Smoking Rooms

In early 2019, all smoking rooms in Suvarnabhumi Airport were closed. This was done in compliance with the Thai government's ban on smoking in public spaces.
